A downloadable game for Windows

This game is a sequel to Vanlen Poison Forest, so the game will make a little more sense if you play it first.  Also don't play this game if you're under 18 because there's dirty curse words.

SOMEBODY *cough* Amy *cough* stole an ANCIENT ARTIFACT and alerted the GODDAMN ALIENS to all of the magic locations on planet Earth. Now it's up to SOMEBODY *cough* Amy *cough* to fix it so that the ALIENS don't KIDNAP ALL MAGIC HUMANS AND EXPERIMENT ON THEM.

Why did you do it Amy?

WHY!?

Thank you for playing! I haven't had the chance to watch it in full yet, but I did skip to the end for the final thoughts commentary. I thank you very much for the kind words on the aesthetics and art.

As for the story it might be best to start from the 0.5 section of Vanlen X.5 to maximize understanding. Vanlen is with her coworkers in that one, and one of them is basically a walking exposition dispenser. The game also takes place earliest chronologically unless you count Bleeding Nettle, which is the same universe but it does not involve Vanlen herself.

I can also make a chart of the story in chronological order if you would like one, which I think would also make the story easier to understand.

Also yeah... The minigames in this one were kinda bad. I had no idea what I was doing! I always double check to make sure something's working these days at least lol.

Yeah a chart would be helpful! Although, again, I don't think it matters too much that the plot of the story is hard to follow, the characters and interactions between them were more than enough to carry the story. I'll play Vanlen X.5 next, downloading it now...

The minigames actually weren't too bad, it was just the rhythm one which was, and it was just because of the timing of the note hitting was off. Also, maybe the fishing minigame needed a tutorial... Otherwise, no real problems.

Alright, I ended up making this. The blue games are ones that would explain huge story elements that I haven't worked on or finished yet because the way I've been approaching the greater story is just playing around with whatever character I feel like that month/year. Some of them are lying around half finished haha... I really gotta get back to them at some point.

I'm glad you like the characters! I do put most of the effort into writing/designing them so I guess it's fine if the story's a bit of a mess sometimes if they're enjoyable. The rhythm one I prolly should've cut and changed it to something different definitely, and yeah I've heard that about the fishing minigame. I will have to come back and edit this one, one day. And maybe add a little bit more context to the story.

I probably should say the Vanlen Series's story is, at the barest of bones, just about aliens invading earth to try to access a god that lives at Earth's core. The god gives his magic to humans who passed away young to give them an opportunity to fight for him. Why? That is the part I will not spoil...

Wow, alright! Looks like I got some games to play! I'll admit, I've been stuck for YT friendly games to play...  I'll get started on them, so look forward to LPs on them!

Chaika's design is so aesthetically pleasing. I found it funny that she called Olympia a 'fatass'. I like the concept of 'magic humans' and your aliens in general. Great work!

Thank you! Chaika 1671 Seagull is one of the designs I'm proudest of. I'm glad you enjoyed her antics!
